Ohhh yes...... i have completed my 2 years in USA actually, more than 2 years now, and things personally are pretty much getting back in shape...after all that struggle with my emotions, my feelings in short after all that ordeal ....i feel much better now. I must say it was and it is a very difficult journey where i was fighting with my own shortcomings infact still fighting, it was like i have lost the direction, everything was so convoluted , baffling which made feel like a complete looser.
Most of the time i was crying and that too for no reason on this earth.....i mean it was depressing and after realising that i am crying for no reason it was all the more depressing!!!!!!
The worst part is no matter how hard i tried to come over it, by trying to occupy my mind by reading, watching tv, exercising or anything which i use to like but nothing actually worked, infact it actually deteriorated my condition...that's morbid. Thanks to my husband who introduced me to this world of blog and gave me this idea, and that was the time i started this blog, without thinking about my english or grammar or my writing i started writing, as i desperately wanted an outlet where i could pour out all my frustration. After writing my first blog i didn't feel very good but i ensued writing and felt very light and much much better, and then i received comments from other H4 people who were facing the same problems, i was relieved knowing that what i was feeling was not unusal and i am not paranoid or something.
Although i am still fighting and waiting for things to get completely normal, but i feel much better than before and hope for the same in the coming future.
Believe me... if you are in that mode don't panic give yourself some time and things will get back to normal as time passes....and till then just keep pouring everything out here or where you feel like ....trust me you will feel better.

Hi Soniya,
Congrats on your baby! This is Ketaki. I am an Indian chartered accountant with 4 years of experience and came to US on H4 visa. I pretty much identify with the experience you narrated here, this is my third month in the US. Though my husband is very supportive and understanding, I do feel frustrated many times during the day at having left my career behind, having loads of time on hand not knowing what to do, bored doing the routine monotonous housework...anyways hope it gets back on line as time passes..
Hey Ketaki,
Sorry for responding so late.i am sure by now you must be pretty much settled here.I was so occupied with my little one that i hardly got time to write anything but now i have put in school :) which gives some time to touch my laptop. If i am correct you have completed your 2 years which surely makes you feel more confident and feel at home kind of feeling ....from now onwards you will have a smooth path you'll start liking america better than India for some XYZ reasons..but if havent found a job for yourself then that should be the only thing you are still cribbing , and if you a have found a job then congrats! you are doin great, and if search is on then good luck don't loose hope we are getting better everyday.
Keep writing and keep sharing.
